HARS Aviation Museum Albion Park
The HARS Aviation Museum is an all volunteer group of Aviation Professionals and Enthusiasts who have premises at Shellharbour Regional Airport (YSHL), Albion Park.
When you visit, a tour guide will escort you and show you all that is there. At HARS, you will be walking through operational hangars, able to get up close and personal with the aeroplanes and even explore some of them.
Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventure and Zipline Tour
A unique eco-wilderness adventure! Take a walk through the treetops on the Treetop Walk, a 1.5km walk through beautiful warm temperate rainforest some 20-30m above the ground. Then there’s the thrills and challenges of two confronting swaying springboard cantilevers suspended 25m above the forest floor which take guests to the edge of the escarpment. Officially the highest zipline in Australia, the Illawarra Fly Zipline Tour is a unique wilderness adventure that takes place in the magnificent Illawarra Rainforest.
Jervis Bay Maritime Museum
The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum features a world renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. The Museum exhibits a range of nautical equipment, models, photographs, paintings, drawings and objects relating to the history and heritage of the Jervis Bay area. The Museum is also home to the historic c1911 Lady Denman Ferry, the only surviving wooden Sydney Harbour Ferry as well as other historic vessels.
Push your limits at the Nowra Trees Adventure
If you’re up for some fun and don’t mind swinging around the trees like a monkey, then a visit to the Nowra Trees Adventure is a must do! Located at the rear of the Shoalhaven Zoo, the trees adventure is an obstacle course set high up in the treetops and is designed to put you through your paces whilst taking in the beautiful cliff top and zoo views – who knows, you might even get the chance to high five a giraffe!

Penwood Miniature Train Rides
Penwood miniature railway is located at Jaspers Brush, NSW just 2 kms south of Berry. Experience the nostalgia of travelling on a replica miniature steam railway through a rural property. Next running date: 2 Feb 2025.
Family Fun Day at Bundanon
Children and adults visit the Art Museum and collaborate together to create their own artworks. After a guided visit to the Art Museum and new exhibition Bagan Bariwariganyan: echoes of country participants will come together to participate in a painting workshop. Designed for children 5-12 years with their carers.

Ring Making Workshops
This is a beginner’s taster workshop so no skills are required to attend this class. We provide tea & coffee and cool water during the workshop. Good conversation and a friendly encouraging atmosphere. An expert professional in a small group setting, providing you with assistance as required.
Summer Slides at Nowra Aquatic Park
Cool off this summer with weekly slide nights at Nowra Aquatic Park! Enjoy two hours of fun with slides, splash play park, swimming, and music every Tuesday and Thursday in January.

Green Mountain Nature Play
While we arrive each day with a flexible plan, we will be learning on the hop and flowing with the interest and energy of the children on the day. We lay the foundation of respect and kindness for self, each other and a reverence for Mother Nature from the very beginning of our day. Recreational activities might include art and craft, sculpture, baking bread on campfire, learning knots, playing trail games, observation walks, identifying birds, plants and animals, and much more.
