Payment, Cancellation and Gift Certificates
Property Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, the outstanding 50% is due on the day of arrival. Should you decide to cancel within 14 days of your arrival you will forfeit your deposit amount. In the case you require a cancellation outside of 14 days, cancellation fees are payable. Please note: If your cancellation is due to government restrictions and is relative to the Covid-19 pandemic, we offer change of date.
Third party credit card payments require completion of hotel issued credit card authorisation form. This must be arranged with the hotel prior to arrival. Guests paying cash will be asked to pay full accommodation rates plus $100 AUD bond per stay for incidentals. The unused portion of the bond will be refunded at checkout.
Additional fees will be incurred for payment from an international credit card.
Credit card holder must be physically present at reception desk to provide credit card payment. For security reasons please do not provide credit card details through email. Please either call us or use the online booking system via our website. A credit card will be pre-authorised at check in. If the room is prepaid, the pre-authorisation will be $100AUD per night.
Personal cheques are not accepted for payment. In addition, Bangalay does not offer cheque cashing services.
To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly during business hours from Monday through Friday.
