Bangalay is proud to partner with local businesses to provide Bangalay guests with a diverse and exciting array of experiences, all within a short drive. Our concierge can assist you to plan and book recommended experiences to ensure you see the best of the Shoalhaven during your stay.
Bangalay staff provide a virtual check in, full payment is to be provided prior to arrival with villa access codes sent via sms or email.
Early arrivals may be granted upon request, based on availability. A guest who requires a room prior to the standard check in of 2pm is recommended to include the previous night when making a reservation. An additional fee of up to 100% of one night’s room rate may apply for arrivals before 2pm.
An early departure fee may be imposed on guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date. Full night charges for the entire stay will apply for early departures on non-refundable bookings, and/or during peak periods. Please contact us for further information.
Guests checking out after 10am will be charged a fee of 50AUD per hour until 5pm. Check-outs after 4pm will incur a full night fee. Late checkouts after 10am can only be confirmed the morning of departure.
Occupancy and Bedding
We can accommodate a maximum of four adults in our one bedroom villas, utilising the sofa bed and six adults in our two bedroom villas. Rate is based on two adults with a surcharge per additional person.
Porta cots are available. Please contact us prior to your stay to make arrangements.
Yes, we have 2 x 2 Bedroom Garden View wheelchair accessible Villas which meet the Australian Standard 1428.1. We can also arrange hire for shower aids and other assistive devices on request. The local Surf Life Saving Club have a beach wheelchair, allowing you to get down onto the beach and is located only 100 metres from the Villas. There are a series of great footpaths connecting many parts of Shoalhaven Heads village and the town is relatively flat.
Only service animals are permitted at Bangalay Villas. No other animals are permitted.
Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.
All villas and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A $500AUD cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.
Gatherings and Noise
Guests are not allowed to hold parties in villas. A noise complaint will result in eviction from the complex without a refund.
An excess cleaning fee will apply for any food waste left out and not disposed of in bins provided, as it attracts ants. A fee will also apply to excessive sand in Villas, as it damages floors.
Payment, Cancellation and Gift Certificates
Property Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, the outstanding 50% is due on the day of arrival. Should you decide to cancel a $50 cancellation fee applies to all bookings cancelled outside 14 days of your arrival. If you decide to cancel or modify/change your booking within 14 days of your arrival you will forfeit your deposit amount. All cancellations within 24hrs of arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee. All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellation fees apply to any and all circumstances.
Personal cheques are not accepted for payment. In addition, Bangalay does not offer cheque cashing services.
How do I purchase a gift voucher?
Gift vouchers can be purchased online. All gift vouchers will be sent as a PDF to your email address. If a recipient email address has been provided, the recipient will also receive an email with the voucher attached.

Terms and Conditions of Gift Voucher use
Gift vouchers are valid for three years from purchase date. Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift vouchers must be presented upon booking and arrival.
Where can I use my Gift Voucher?
Bangalay Gift Vouchers can be redeemable on accommodation in our luxury villas, or at our destination restaurant Bangalay Dining.
Do I have to stay within the Gift Voucher expiry period?
Gift vouchers must be used within the three year period. They are non-refundable and if unused within the validity period, the funds will be lost.

Massage & Yoga Cancellations
Our Therapists and Instructors require 48 hours' notice of cancellation otherwise you will be charged in full for the appointment.
All lighting can be dimmed by holding down switch.
Keys are located on laundry shelf.
Cooktop switch is on the benchtop GPO near the coffee machine.
Please ensure dishwasher is stacked and turned on before leaving.
Please ensure all rubbish is in bins and remove all personal items from fridge and freezer before departure.
Our coffee pods are fully biodegradable.
If any food or rubbish is left in the oven, on tables, floors or benches excess cleaning fees will apply.
Combined washer, use setting 4 for quick wash only or 11 for wash and dry.
Please do not use sofa bed unless included upon booking. If required, please ask at reception for assistance from housekeeping. Additional fees will be attributed to your account if sofa bed is used without prior arrangements with reception.
Television free to air stations are available via remote. Sound bar and sub-woofer are connected.
Bluetooth pairing of phone or iPod to subwoofer via button on side of soundbar. Find [AV] Samsung Soundbar M360 M-Series in your device.
Gas fire place remote is located next to air conditioning remote. When in use, please stack curtains at opposite side of doors.
Towels will be replaced daily, if you wish to reuse towels please hang on hooks.
The floor heating switch is the bottom right hand switch on light switch panel.
Please use the exhaust fan.
Safe is located in the robe, please follow instructions as displayed on the safe.
