School Holiday Family Friendly Activities
Time for you and your little one to experience the Art Museum. These sessions include a 30 minute art making activity with Bundanon’s Learning team.
Join the surfcamp fun with our progressive courses designed for beginners to intermediate surfers.
There is nothing more thrilling than seeing these beautiful creatures up close and swimming alongside the boat as you watch on. The Bay is home to lots of pods of bottlenose dolphins, who love the calm waters of the Bay, raising their little ones and playing host to the migrating whales on their way up and down the coast during migration.
When you visit, a tour guide will escort you and show you all that is there. At HARS, you will be walking through operational hangars, able to get up close and personal with the aeroplanes and even explore some of them.
Officially the highest zipline in Australia, the Illawarra Fly Zipline Tour is a unique eco-wilderness adventure that takes place in the magnificent Illawarra Rainforest.
Dedicated to all those who through duty and sacrifice served their nation as members of the Fleet Air Arm, the Museum seeks to tell their story through sharing our unique collection of aircraft, artefacts and memorabilia.
The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum features a world renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. The Museum exhibits a range of nautical equipment, models, photographs, paintings, drawings and objects relating to the history and heritage of the Jervis Bay area.
Here on the South Coast we are spoilt for choice with beaches. From gentle, child friendly swimming coves to epic barrelling wave beaches to test the keenest surfer, the South Coast is the watery backyard of many champion surfers raised on the South Coast. Shoalhaven Zoo boasts an extensive collection of native and exotic animals, set in amongst the most spectacular natural rock formations and bushland, all on the banks of the beautiful Shoalhaven River.
If you’re up for some fun and don’t mind swinging around the trees like a monkey, then a visit to the Trees Adventure in Nowra is a must do! Located at the rear of the Shoalhaven Zoo, the trees adventure is an obstacle course set high up in the treetops and is designed to put you through your paces whilst taking in the beautiful cliff top and zoo views – who knows, you might even get the chance to high five a giraffe!
A great way to spend an afternoon is to visit the Treat Factory in Berry. Hundreds of varieties of chocolates, confectionery and preserves are handcrafted onsite making it the largest gourmet food outlet on the South Coast.
