SEVEN MILE BEACH

Seven Mile Beach is directly accessible from Bangalay, this expansive beach is perfect for long walks, surfing, swimming, or simply relaxing with uninterrupted ocean views.

BOAT HARBOUR ROCK POOL

A great spot to cool down on a hot day is the rock pool at Boat Harbour in Gerringong, a short 10 minute drive north of Shoalhaven Heads. Based at the bottom of a cliff, there is always someone enjoying themselves at Boat Harbour, from frolicking swimmers, fisherman, children rock hopping or people out walking which makes for a nice, relaxed and friendly spot for a swim.

JERVIS BAY BEACHES

There are too many great beaches here to just narrow down to one, but if you head to Vincentia, you can always find a beach that is sheltered from the wind – whatever direction it is blowing. Orion and Blenheim are beautiful beaches, as are Greenfield and Collingwood – we just can’t choose from these picture perfect white sand beaches of Jervis Bay! While you’re there you can book a dolphin or whale watching cruise (in season) to get up close to these gorgeous creatures in the Bay.

GERROA

Gerroa has long been a favourite with beachgoers due to the gentle waves and sheltered conditions on the northern end of the beach. Patrolled in Summer, it’s not unusual to see pods of dolphins frolicking in the waves and amongst the surfers. You can hire a kayak near the bridge and paddle upstream to explore the waterways and check out the bird and marine life along the way.

MOLLYMOOK BEACH

A vibrant yet relaxing beach scene with nearby cafes and fine dining options. A great spot for watching dolphins. About 40 minutes drive from Bangalay.
