Among the lush rolling hills of Berry, on the NSW South Coast, is where you’ll find Far Meadow Table, a gourmet oasis offering cooking workshop focusing on unique seasonal dishes celebrating the beautiful South Coast. Far Meadow Table was brought to life by husband and wife team Kath and Iain who both share a deep passion for food. Iain’s experience includes working in some of London’s top Michelin starred restaurants as well as a caterer and private chef.
The workshops are usually a full day experience, kicking off with a lovely morning tea – an excellent way for guests to get to know each other before diving into the class. Learn how to whip up pantry essentials such as bread, pizza bases, sauces, salad dressings, jams and chutneys.
The vegetable garden, orchard, tomato and herb garden are a key source of ingredients for the Far Meadow Table kitchen, along with produce from local farmers and gardeners, fishermen and artisans
During the school holidays, Far Meadow also offers a special Kids in the Kitchen event for children aged 8 and up. The little ones will get to learn how to make pizza and pasta from scratch.
