MEDIA RELEASE – Genesis Motors and Bangalay Luxury Villas partner for sustainable travel

Genesis Motors Australia partners with Bangalay Luxury Villas to re-brand and re-new Bangalay Luxury Villa’s original onsite electric vehicle charging station to further support regional NSW travel. Genesis vehicle chargers now available to Bangalay Luxury Villas guests from 31 August 2023.

Sydney, Australia – September 2023 — Genesis Motors, a trailblazing name in the luxury electric vehicle (EV) industry, has joined hands with Bangalay Luxury Villas, an epitome of laid-back luxury hospitality on the South Coast of NSW, to inaugurate a new partnership that intertwines innovation, sustainability, and opulence.

The collaboration comes to life as Genesis Motors installs an electric vehicle charging station at the award-winning property – a move that paves the way for a greener, more convenient travel experience for young and “old”.

“At Genesis Motors we believe that every drive deserves to be a discovery, which is why we are thrilled to join hands with Bangalay Luxury Villas to capture the ease of eco-travel and support the shared direction between our businesses as we move towards sustainability,” says Connal Yan, Head of Genesis Motors Australia.

Bangalay Luxury Villas, just two hours from Sydney and situated in one of the most picturesque locations along the Australian eastern coastline, shares a similar commitment to sustainability and environmental preservation. As one of the early adopters of EV travel, the renewal of EV chargers to Genesis specifications aligns perfectly with the founders’ eco-conscious approach to hospitality, providing an all-inclusive experience to guests seeking both luxury and responsible travel.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Genesis Motors Australia in this innovative endeavour,” says Michelle Bishop, Designer, Owner and General Manager of Bangalay Luxury Villas. “By offering our guests access to electric vehicle chargers, we empower them to make environmentally responsible choices while
enjoying the beauty of the South Coast.”

Luxurious Sustainability

Bangalay Luxury Villas further solidifies its position as a trendsetter in luxury hospitality by enhancing guest experiences through sustainable choices. The introduction of EV charging stations signifies the property’s forward-thinking approach, combining indulgence with eco-consciousness.

Effortless Mobility

Genesis Motors is at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution, providing cutting-edge EV technology that aligns seamlessly with the modern traveller’s needs. The partnership with Bangalay Luxury Villas extends the accessibility of EV charging infrastructure to those exploring the picturesque surroundings of the property.

“Tourism operators are leading the charge in supplying EV charging infrastructure to road trippers. Wineries, accommodation providers and resorts such as Bangalay Luxury Villas are all popular destinations for EV drivers travelling to the South Coast due to their EV Charging Infrastructure. The South Coast is a popular road trip destination, and we welcome further investment in EV Charging Infrastructure to our key destinations,” states Karen Dempster, Director, South Coast Tourism Industry Association and Green Travel Experience.

The partnership promotes an eco-friendly travel lifestyle by eliminating the carbon footprint associated with traditional vehicles. Visitors to Bangalay Luxury Villas can now explore the region while reducing their impact on the environment.

Collaborative Innovation

The partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration between distinct industries to drive positive change. Genesis Motors and Bangalay Luxury Villas collectively embrace innovation to create a symbiotic relationship that benefits both guests and the planet.

In an era where discerning travellers seek not only luxury accommodations but also experiences that resonate with their values, the partnership between Genesis Motors and Bangalay Luxury Villas sets a new standard for purposeful travel. The integration of EV charging stations within the property underscores the commitment of both brands to a greener, more sustainable future.
